Who Are We?
Seren is a creative and welcoming educational agency based in Aberystwyth. Our dedicated team combines backgrounds in performance, education and international studies. We're passionate about delivering high‑quality music and language education to learners of all ages. Whether you're picking up an instrument for the first time, brushing up your Spanish or preparing for university‑level French, Seren believes everyone deserves the chance to shine.

About our Founder
My name is Finn Jones and I am the founder of Seren Arts & Languages Institute. I was raised in the UK and spent much of my life in Wales, particularly in Abermule and Aberystwyth, where I developed a deep connection to this beautiful country.
Growing up surrounded by music and a variety of languages shaped who I am today and who I aspire to become. But my journey hasn't always been easy, I have dyslexia and have experienced first-hand the challenges that can come with traditional education systems.
That's why I created Seren: to bring music and language into homes across Wales and the UK, and to ensure that no one is left behind. Our tutors aren't just teachers, they're mentors who care deeply and understand the importance of patience, encouragement and personalized learning.
Aberystwyth, where we are proudly based, has a rich musical history. Sadly in recent years, this vibrant tradition has begun to fade. I chose Aberystwyth as our starting point to help revive the arts and give people of all ages the opportunity to reconnect with the soul of humanity.
